App design project for Makes, an Ed-Tech startup owned by Appleseeds.
After creating the initial stripped-down POC and a mass of user research and interviews, our task was to create an educational, gamified platform for teenagers that engages and inspires kids to life-long learning. We created multiple experiences offering different ratios of design, gamification, and education with which, after user feedback and data analysis, the final MVP design and experience was born. Imitating many of the elements teenagers interact with daily, Makes provided massive engagement with its influencer-style content delivery and increased learning through its fun, gamified approach. Makes is currently being piloted with the Ministry of Education in Israel.
